22 FISH in the CLYDE RIVER, BATEMANS BAY
We had a cracker of a weekend fishing in the Tinny down near Batemans Bay. We're both pretty inexperienced so we were stoked. We stayed at Nelligen on a rainy weekend and headed down river towards Batemans Bay. We didn't have much luck but as we got closer to the change of tide and closer to the Bay we started to get some nibbles. We ended satying near the bridge and caught 22 fish from about 11m to 4pm. Only a few were big enough to keep, but it was a heap of fun!!! Watch to the end to see the flatty fillets cooked up with some chips. Mint weekend on the water.

Installing UPPER CONTROL ARMS and SWAY BAR in RG COLORADO / DMAX
Переглядів 786Місяць тому
This suspension combination in the front end of my RG Colorado gained me 20mm down travel, and 15mm extra compression. The Collie now has about 115mm of suspension travel in the front end. The combination includes 75-85mm travel front struts with heavy duty springs, HiFlex sway bar, whiteline adjustable sway bar links and Blackhawk upper control arms. The UCA stops on the chassis needed to be m...
PADDLING THE TUMUT RIVER
Переглядів 9662 місяці тому
We bought $40 inflatable boats from Anaconda and spent a hot sunny Saturday on the Tumut River. It turned out one of the funniest days we'd had in a long time. We camped at the caravan park in town and then drove two cars up to the river entry point near the dam wall, just up past the foot bridge. Once unloaded the boys drove the cars back to the caravan park and then caught a Taxi back to the ...
How to SETUP and PACK DOWN a JAYCO SWAN
Переглядів 8 тис.3 місяці тому
Alex from Jayco Canberra shows us how he would set up and pack down the 2024 Jayco Swan Outback camper van that is built for offroad camping and touring. The process in the video assumes that you have levelled the van, unhitched and put the stabiliser legs down. The setup is pretty quick once the van is off the car. Packing up is slightly longer, but still not very long at all. Most of the time...
JACKASS HILL and CAMPING on the TURON RIVER
Переглядів 1,3 тис.3 місяці тому
We kick off with a slow morning and cook up at a creek camp somewhere in Sunny Corner / Turon area and relive the shenanigans from the night before. We hit the tracks and head north towards the famous Jackass Hill / Bastard Hill. If you haven't been here, put it on your list. It is a steep long climb that is really rocky and can be done in sections. All six cars made it up, but it was a challen...

This model includes a few upgrades such as a hot water system, 12v water pump, 2x water tanks, extern...
AVAN Aspire 617 Caravan Walk Through
Переглядів 1,3 тис.4 місяці тому
This is a 20ft caravan with double bunks and full ensuite. We were lucky enough to borrow it from Jayco Canberra's 2nd hand fleet and take it away for the weekend to see what it is like in a full caravan. Our verdict: IT'S GOOD! Weights weren't mentioned in the video so here they are. Tare: 2165kg ATM: 2565kg We love the fact that in a full caravan, setup is minimal - unhitch, stabilise and you...

Haha new experiences👌
Good luck with metery
Thanks, the hunt will go on!!!
We used to call it "The Rissole" when we lived there in the mid nineties. We spent many an our there cooling off in those days. It was a great town then..
Ah cool. Thanks for sharing.
Never a dull moment with you Lewy.
Tell me about it. Brutal
Nice except for music noise
Thanks mate. Hmm yeah I have been trying to reduce some of the music in my vids. Hard though, sometimes the camera audio is just wind noise. Music is better than wind noise.
Excellent video! That looks like major fun. Maybe someday.....
Thanks for tuning in to another video. Was a cool experience
I bet that the price tag on this Trailer is $100,000 or very close to it.
Yeah I think you are about right.
There are some items that I like on this Trailer.
There are some cool features.
U even can not buy this model in WA I’m wondering how much it is cost
I think it is discontinued now mate. Shame. Best to find one second hand.
Great video! Beautiful country! The roof thing on the telegraph pole is so that rain water doesn't wet the top of the pole, if it wets the top of the pole the moisture will travel down the grain of the wood easily and hasten the rotting of the pole from the inside out. But it looks like that pole would have outlived it's usefulness anyways without it.
Oh awesome. That makes sense, simple but effective. Thanks for sharing.
Looks like a great spot for the fam!
Yeah really was. Huge property with loads of spots to camp.
💪JEEP!💪
The Stormtrooper is a weapon!
Hah, this brings back memories. The bloke driving the GQ stuck it in there in 2WD just to make me climb out the window and run the winch.
Was a good day on the track. Need to get back there at some stage!
Thanks for the walk thru 🙂
No problem, thanks for watching.
CORRECT!
😆
Is the gas fitting for outside BBQ legal for a Weber.
Yeah mate, you just need to buy the gas hose that goes from the boyanet on to your Webber. Common hose to buy.
Thanks for the through walkthrough I like to see a through of the 21.65-4
We're unlikely to walk through another Silverline this year. Best to head to your local dealership to see one in person.
A couple of friends brought a Jayco recently and are regretting it as they have had to fix quality issues with their vans. Finishes and hardware aren’t very good on Jayco.
Unlucky, at least you get no questions asked warranty service, and access to a network of dealerships around the country. All brands have these issues like that mate.
We have a 2019 Silverline. It has been a great van and we have had some great trips over the past five years. Do not like the interior colours of tje new model at all.
That's awesome. Caravans make for some great memories. You can choose your colours when u order brand new.
Nice van but Why Hasn’t Got a D035 on the caravan ,for safety.
DO35 is an optional extra.
So what is the grey Anderson plug connected to if it doesn’t power the fridge. The wiring must be connected to something in the van.
Good question. Will try find out.
I have a 2018 Journey Outback, and I think the latest interior colour scheme looks terrible. I am in the process of looking to upgrade my van, but wouldn’t consider a Jayco anymore, very middle of the road, but getting too expensive for the quality you get from the factory.
We'll hopefully upgrade to the 19ft Jayco Journey OB full van one day. We have the Jayco Journey 17ft pop top.
I don’t know who picks the different colours of the interior but they need to find another job
You get to choose colours when ordering brand new.
This is great i think i might retire sooner than later.
Ohhh im jealous 😆 retire asap! 👏
Good to see you back
Thx mate. It's good to be checking out a fancy caravan too. Hope you are well!
Can you please post a set up and pack up video
There is one on the channel. ua-cam.com/video/wMtmMpdXuWU/v-deo.htmlsi=y-bNDZ0jtQNQF1OJ
May I ask how did you get the grey canvas? I really want the light colour one and the sales person told me there's no way to change it as 2024 swan model comes with green tent/Ali 😢
They are correct in saying that canvas colours aren't selectable. The canvas colour may have changed as this is also a 2024 Swan Outback. Maybe ring around to see if anyone is holding stock of the light canvas model?
Ooooh a bloke could dream hey. 😍
Would be nice parked up next to the water somewhere!
That beast is just rear locked, yeah? Top driving!
Yeah rear locker. Muddies. Long travel suspension.
So could you feel any difference on the trails
Yeah you can feel the car moves different when getting crossed up in ruts etc. It used to be so rigid in the front and just pitch sideways and lift wheels. It stays a bit more level now and front tyres maintain traction for longer.
Love these videos I struggle giving it a go every weekend in my 105 series and it’s so relatable
Hahaha got to have a crack hey. Never goes smoothly!!!
Nope these new ones are better then the 22 swans
There are some nice updates
Neat rig 💯🇦🇺
Thanks mate. It has done everything asked of it!
I'm here thanks to giro d'italia! Cheers mate from 🇮🇹. Amazing trailers btw
I have been following the Giro. Aussie currently 4th place GC. Thanks mate.
Hey bro nice vid, have you got a diff drop in that ?
Nope. Have never needed one.
Crazy, I would have thought with that size lift your CV’s would get roasted. Good to know. Cheers
@@OutdoorsCBR also bro, not sure if this vid or another one, but how did you know your diff bushes need replacing ?
@M.K.G1994 I can see there is cracking in them. But I can also lay under the car and push against the diff housing to make movement in the bushes. Probs shouldn't be able to do that. Can get them from Holden for about 120 each, there are 3 of them.
@@OutdoorsCBR copy that. I might have to check mine as I have a knock in the front and can’t for the life of me figure out what it is. I’ve got a Colorado Ute but same front end arrangement
Mission... that's when hammers fly, looks like your gearing up for a crack at porkchop now you've reigned supreme on lamb cutlets lol
Definitely a mission. Porkchop - never 😆 Scary hill that one.
@@OutdoorsCBR lol its a solid challenge that's for sure...
Damn. Was watching your updates on Instagram when you did it. Looks like a decent upgrade and worth the headaches!
Was a bloody nightmare 😆 yeah I think it was worth it. Suspension front and back moves nicely now.
Good stuff mate. I've gotvthat front end clunk at the moment. Might check those links. The last 20 minutes of this vid was some of your best work 😂😊
Haha geez, thanks for the heads up. Black screen is being removed 😆😆😆 yeah it is worth checking the links. Mine would move all the time. Another thing to check is the 3 diff mount bushes. I'm getting a mechanic to replace those
20 mins black screen footage at the end is a nice bonus.
Hahaha sorry about that. It was supposed to represent the days of sleep once it was finally over!!!!
Hi, how did you get the seat belt bolts out, mine are really tight, like what you have done.😊 Ken
It was a long time ago, I don't remember it being a major issue. Get a long handle socket/breaker bar if they are really tight. They do have lock tight on them from factory.
If you can’t drive it don’t!! Like there was no issue, pull forward and turn the Fing wheel
😆
Bigman hanging off thay snorkle like its not bolted on by 4 bolts lol
😮 glad it stayed on
Forward is the way
Not this day
Hey, you can't park there...
True story
big man saves the day
100%
How did you remove the seats?
Just unbolt them mate. It's a fairly easy job once you remove plastic covers that cover the bolt heads.
Don't forget to turn the internal lights off before winding it down.
Correct.
The brook is back!
Loving it!!!
